時々、動くと、そこにいると思い出す。
生きていることを伝えてくれるその瞬間に、
母体としての私は、安心を覚える。

ただそれだけのやり取りが、
とても静かで、深い対話のように感じられた。

この絵は、私自身の妊娠体験をもとにした
些細な記録のひとつです。
けれど、誰もが母から生まれ、
今ここにいるという事実の延長線上にある。
その「生まれてきた」という奇跡の結果を
静かに思い出すための線でもあります。

■シリーズ「とどめる線」について

どこかへ行ってしまいそうなものを、
私は、線でとどめてきました。

抱えていた重さも、
言葉にできなかった気持ちも、
一度だけ通り過ぎていった時間の気配も。

身体は日々かたちを変えながら、
自分のもののようで、そうではないようにも思えました。
喜びとともに、静かなこわさもありました。

たしかにそこにあったものを、
忘れたくなくて、描きとめてきました。
線を引くことで、ふたたび触れられる気がしたのです。

■To Be

Sometimes, when there is a small movement,
I am reminded — you are there.
It tells me that life is continuing,
and as a mother’s body, I feel relief.

Such quiet exchanges felt like
a deep conversation without words,
an invisible dialogue that simply said,
we are both here.

This work is a small record drawn from my own experience of pregnancy.
Though personal, it carries a universal truth:
we all come from our mothers.
To be here now is simply the continuation of that fact —
and this drawing exists as a gentle reminder of it.

■Series concept

I have drawn lines to hold onto things that might otherwise fade —
the weight I carried, the unspoken feelings,
and the fleeting presence of a certain time.

The body changes shape every day,
sometimes feeling like my own, sometimes not.
There was both joy and a quiet fear.
I drew because I didn’t want to forget.
By drawing the line, I felt I could touch it once more.
